No-Input Mixing

In October 2020 we had a No-Input Mixing workshop with Andrea Gava (alias Andreij Rublev), which climaxed into an impressive improvisational concert at Urban Arts Festival Styria. No-Input Mixing is a technique where you connect outputs and inputs of mixers and move the knobs to play around with the feedback loops. Check out our experimental soundscape in the video!

What is real and who decides that it is? Union reflection assembly is an exhibition by the master’s program Communication, Media, Sound and Interaction Design that deals with reality and how it can be perceived, influenced and modified. The exhibition space becomes a playground for our perception and our ideas of reality. The visual identity itself plays with the topic of perception as well. It should remind us that our perception is more subjective than we may think. Based on the book "1984", the title of the exhibition was generated automatically and is basically meaningless. With this exhibition we fill the title with meaning and charge it emotionally.
